• As incoming freshmen at North Atlanta High School, recognized a bridge was needed to help middle and high school students and coaches build and maintain academic, arts, and athletic pipeline; middle school athletic coaches lacked resources to support middle school teams and high school arts and academic clubs/teams were struggling recruiting freshmen and sustaining student involvement

• Created Future Warriors, a high school / middle school mentorship program, as the bridge

• Since 2022, grew Future Warriors to 15+ clubs and organizations such as debate, orchestra, lacrosse, cross-country, track & field, softball, football, cheer, swimming & diving, wrestling, baseball, golf, volleyball, and flag football

• Built sustainable model based on feedback from middle and high school coaches, principals, athletic directors, students, administration, and parents

• Created application process, training, curriculum, and sustainable model where 100+ North Atlanta High School students mentor & coach middle school students to build skills and relationships and create natural pipeline of active participation when middle school students move to high school

• 70+ North Atlanta High School students currently serve as Mentors and 30+ high school students serve as Directors across the athletic, arts, and academic organizations; current Directors and Mentors are training younger students to become Directors and Mentors in the future

• Actively recruiting local college athletic directors to meet with athletes, mentors and directors to further build motivational/mentoring skills

Co-Founder/Editor in Chief, Windows Magazine, 2023-on-going

• At start of sophomore year, high school journalism teacher mentioned he had wanted to start a school magazine for years, but never had the resources or student leadership to succeed

• In 2023, as a sophomore, I co-founded Windows Magazine, North Atlanta High School’s magazine, including submitting grant application for funding, creating and teaching myself Adobe InDesign software and magazine design, and organizing and training magazine staff

• Created succession plans for Windows and have trained staff and editors on design software and grant-writing

• Sophomore year, recognized North Atlanta High School no longer had a news channel; junior year, created WireTV

• Trained self and Warrior Wire staff to create digital news content

• Manage production schedule for WireTV

• All Warrior Wire staff now contribute to WireTV by creating video stories corresponding to their articles (sports, features, etc)

• Created and organize semi-annual award show, The Wires, to celebrate and showcase the best WireTV videos produced each semester

President, Teen Board, Temple Sinai, 2024-on-going

• Synagogue’s youth involvement had been declining over decades, and by COVID-19, no longer had a youth board

• Resurrected Teen Board and was selected President in 2024

• Created and implemented new programming that encouraged youth to become involved/participate

• Youth involvement is now at all-time high and Teen Board has 15+ members

• Oversee board meetings, delegate tasks to board members, manage weekly calls with board members

• Plan community events, teen-led services, and community service initiatives (mitzvah of the month)

• Created succession plan to encourage continued and sustained youth involvement

Unit Head/Volunteer Coordinator, Camp Jenny, 2023-2025

• Selected as Unit Head overseeing 37 second- and third -grade campers

• Camp Jenny gives children from an underserved Atlanta community the opportunity to receive the love of big “brothers and sisters,” three nutritious meals a day, and phenomenal summer camp programming at a sleepaway camp each summer

• Created and implemented camp programming and oversaw teen volunteer counselors at sleepaway camp

• Organized annual fundraiser and contributed art in auction that raised thousands of dollars to provide students with a life-changing sleepaway camp experience

• Delivered keynote speech to motivate youth leaders to participate and encourage community financial donations

• Effectively managed camper’s medical crisis while maintain calm among other young campers

ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Founder/Executive Director, 4GreenFutures, 2024-on-going

• Created student-run environmental education and leadership program, operating across 3 states, to mentor elementary- and middle-school students to turn environmental anxiety into environmental action

• 6,000+ elementary-aged students have participated in classroom and outdoor programming

• Created organizational infrastructure and curriculum, partnered with national environmental organizations, and recruited 50+ 4GreenFutures teen directors who plan and execute events across middle and elementary schools

• Trained 50+ 4GreenFuture High School leaders to tailor and deliver appropriate programming at local elementary schools

• Student leaders work directly with elementary school leadership on programming delivery

• Student leaders selected based on rigorous essay and interview-based selection process to ensure program is effective and sustainable

• Oversee North Atlanta High School’s 4GreenFutures Chapter and provide guidance and overall leadership to chapters across 3 states

• First semester sophomore year, reinstated North Atlanta High School’s Environmental Club, which had 0 members

• Elected Co-President, sophomore year, and grew club to 100+ active members (one of largest clubs at school now)

• Successfully advocated Atlanta Public Schools (district-level) for the return of its recycling program and launched a communications initiative to train North Atlanta High School students to effectively recycle on campus

• Spearhead environmental programming and events for students

• Work directly with Trees Atlanta and Groundwork Atlanta leadership on programming

• Mobilize student volunteers for at-least monthly events/activities to remove invasive species, plant 70+ trees, clean 1,600+ pounds of trash from the Chattahoochee River, and organize political advocacy around environmental action across Georgia

• Stand With Us is an international non-partisan organization that inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds to stand up against antisemitism

• Develop and host educational programming in Atlanta to help combat antisemitism and raising inter-cultural understanding

• Attend international leadership and learning conferences to further develop organizing, networking, communication, and leadership skills

Teen & Community Engagement Board Member, Volunteer, Creating Connected Communities, 2021-on-going

• Creating Connected Communities is an Atlanta nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of children experiencing hardship through community programming, while also empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers

• Organize annual holiday parties and monthly functions to benefit local youth such as collecting books, creating Smile Bags, tutoring students in STEM/reading, and providing fun activities

• Selected as an inaugural member of Teens 4 Reproductive Rights, which had been established by the National Council for Jewish Women, as a train-the-trainers program for teens to train teens on their reproductive rights

• Translated scientific jargon into language that would be understandable and relatable to teens so Atlanta girls would better understand their bodies and their rights/agency over their bodies

• Note: the time commitment for Mock Trial would have prevented me from creating Windows, Future Warriors, and 4GreenFutures, so I did not plan on participating after my freshmen year. However, during my sophomore year, I was asked to jump in as the Prosecuting Attorney at the last-minute. The Mock Trial coaches knew me as a fast learner and leader. It was a great opportunity.
